About Account for Data
Serious about your business. Easy to talk to.
You put a lot into your business. Your financial support should help you understand where you stand, plan for what’s ahead, and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.
That’s why Account for Data exists.
Your numbers should tell you something useful.
A set of financial reports is a starting point. The value comes from understanding what those numbers mean for your business.
Why does cash feel tight when sales are up? Is your pricing leaving enough room for profit? How much can you pay yourself—and what should you set aside for taxes?
Those are the kinds of questions Account for Data helps business owners work through. From keeping the books in order to preparing business tax returns and planning ahead, the goal is to give you information you can actually use.
Built around the way your business works.
Client projects, uneven payment schedules, and busy seasons can make financial decisions feel complicated.
Account for Data works with business owners across industries who want a clearer picture of their finances and practical support as their businesses evolve.
Your goals, your cash flow, and the way you operate all belong in the conversation.
What you can expect
Room to ask questions
You don’t need to know accounting terminology or have everything figured out before reaching out. Questions are part of the process.
Clear explanations
Understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what your options are—in language that makes sense.
A practical approach
Advice should fit your business, your priorities, and your capacity to take action.
A view beyond the deadline
Tax returns and monthly reports matter. So do the decisions you’re making between them. The focus is on helping you prepare for what comes next.

Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Desireé.
I’m a CPA, CMA, and Enrolled Agent, and I founded Account for Data in 2021.
My background spans accounting, tax, and advisory work, and I enjoy helping business owners connect the numbers to the decisions in front of them. Whether that means understanding a tax bill, working through cash flow, or planning for more consistent owner pay, I want the conversation to feel useful and approachable.
I take the work seriously—and I want you to feel comfortable bringing your questions.
